Hello and welcome to my practice! I'm Dr. Greta. I'm so glad you're here and thinking about speaking to someone in hopes of making a positive change or to work through a challenge. I'm a clinical psychologist based in Chevy Chase, Maryland who provides in-person and Telehealth therapy sessions and school admissions assessments to children ages 5 and older, adolescents, and young adults. HELPING YOU OR YOUR CHILD TO HEAL AND GROW.
Being mindful of your feelings and thoughts and how they impact your choices can be difficult! I am here to help you and your child gain emotional awareness, develop skills for working through big and tough feelings, and create healthy connection to people. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused CBT, an evidence-based practice to help kids process and heal from traumatic events and assist their parents to provide meaningful support along the healing journey.
PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR YOUR CHILD AT SCHOOL AND COMPREHENSIVE PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS.
Collaboration with and consultation to other providers, including teachers, guidance counselors, and other mental health professionals is a big part of providing care that extends to multiple environments in a kid's world. In addition to this service, I also provide school admissions assessments using the WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, and/or Woodcock Johnson-IV as part of a child's application to area schools. Comprehensive psychological assessments for ADHD and/or learning differences are also provided.
